The Core 2015-2025: Closing A Chapter

From a single taco stand to eighteen food venues across Oslo, The Core has always been more than a hospitality group. Our community has been a training ground and living experiment in what food and grit can do. Over the years, hundreds of employees passed through our kitchens and dining rooms, many of them first- or second-generation immigrants. We’re proud to have played a small part in launching dozens of culinary careers and to have founded restaurants like Koie Ramen and Gressholmen Kro.

Though The Core has now reached its final resting place, its soul lives on. Join us as we open a new chapter with SoHo Group AS (Southern Hospitality)—rooted in the same irreverent love for food, people, and place.
