Restaurant Manager

The Core Restaurant Group is recruiting for a Restaurant Manager at Gressholmen Kro.


We are currently looking for experienced Restaurant Managers (3+ yrs).


If you have a passion for food and beverage & a genuine ability to connect with guests and staff alike, you might just be the ideal candidate! A natural leader, you are responsible for maintaining the highest levels of hospitality while leading service on the floor.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day activities

  • Managing ongoing service operations while coordinating with Events Manager on balancing needs of guests

  • Aid in all financial budgeting operations to maximize profitability

  • Working effectively and efficiently with the Events Manager and the management team to ensure operation runs smoothly daily and that all revenue opportunities are maximized

  • Lead by example; a hands-on approach and can do attitude

  • Effective management of the floor and schedule ensuring the team are fully trained in all aspects of the restaurant

  • Floor management with a focus on labor costs planning reactive to changes in business and environment

  • Ensure any guest complaints are handled effectively and professionally and that all guests leave with a positive dining experience

  • Monitor stock management

  • Opening and closing procedures

  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standard as well as health and safety


Qualifications

  • Previous Restaurant management experience

  • Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to cover shifts as needed

  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work effectively

  • Be a clear and concise communicator

  • Have experience with budgeting and how to manage costs and increase revenue

  • Have the ability to motivate the team and create strong work ethics
