The Core Restaurant Group is recruiting for a Restaurant Manager at Gressholmen Kro.
We are currently looking for experienced Restaurant Managers (3+ yrs).
If you have a passion for food and beverage & a genuine ability to connect with guests and staff alike, you might just be the ideal candidate! A natural leader, you are responsible for maintaining the highest levels of hospitality while leading service on the floor.
Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day activities
Managing ongoing service operations while coordinating with Events Manager on balancing needs of guests
Aid in all financial budgeting operations to maximize profitability
Working effectively and efficiently with the Events Manager and the management team to ensure operation runs smoothly daily and that all revenue opportunities are maximized
Lead by example; a hands-on approach and can do attitude
Effective management of the floor and schedule ensuring the team are fully trained in all aspects of the restaurant
Floor management with a focus on labor costs planning reactive to changes in business and environment
Ensure any guest complaints are handled effectively and professionally and that all guests leave with a positive dining experience
Monitor stock management
Opening and closing procedures
Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standard as well as health and safety
Qualifications
Previous Restaurant management experience
Flexibility in working hours and a willingness to cover shifts as needed
Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work effectively
Be a clear and concise communicator
Have experience with budgeting and how to manage costs and increase revenue
Have the ability to motivate the team and create strong work ethics
